Frequently asked questions
What Days do you offer courses?
Please contact me with your availability and we can book you in. I am flexible with the days that I work in order to maintain accessibility.
Can I keep what I make?
Yes of course, but not right away. Final pieces will need to be bisque fired, glazed and then fired again. This is a long process and can take up to 4-6 weeks.
We will be in touch when your pieces are ready for collection.
Please note that due to limited space, we are only able to keep your pieces for 2 months after we have notified you of its completion.
Can I come with a friend?
Of course! There must be a minimum of two makers in order to run the sessions.
Book in together, or maybe meet a new friend in the studio.
Group sessions can be run with a maximum of four. With three wheels in the studio, makers will take turns to handbuild and use the wheels.
What shall I wear?
We will provide aprons to cover clothing, but we suggest you wear something comfortable, that you don’t mind getting a bit grubby with clay.
For ease when working with clay, we also suggest that you keep your fingernails short.
Where can I park?
My studio is situated in West Moors, which is quiet and safe. Parking is available on the roadside, and access is through the side gate.
Do you offer Gift Vouchers?
Yes! Gift vouchers are available.
